With his wife Sara and her cousin, Maybelle Carter, The Original Carter Family became one of the genre's pioneering groups with A.P. credited as a writer of such titles as "Keep On The Sunny Side" and "Will The Circle Be Unbroken." They join the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1970
